Beneath the Surface Men’s Group
If you’re craving deeper connection, more confidence in how you show up, and a way of living that feels true to who you are, this group offers a place to practice exactly that. Here, men step out of old patterns and into a space where honesty, presence, and emotional clarity become lived experiences, not just ideas. It’s a space where real change begins to take shape in your relationships, your work, and your inner life.
You’re in the right place if:
You feel held back by old patterns, past hurt, or emotional wounds you’re ready to move through.
You want a deeper, more authentic connection with your partner, your friends, and yourself.
You’re moving through a big life transition like divorce, separation, a career shift, or a big personal change, and want support that feels steady and real.
You sense there’s more available in your life, and you’re ready to live with more purpose, clarity, and presence.
You’re curious about your emotions and want to communicate with more confidence, clarity, and ease.
What this Men’s Group is
This group is for men who want more depth, authenticity, and real connection in their lives. If you’ve spent years keeping your guard up or handling everything on your own, you’re not alone. Here, we challenge old expectations around masculinity and create a space where you can show up fully - as a partner, a friend, a father, or simply as yourself. It’s a place to practice presence, emotional awareness, and meaningful connection with other men who want the same.
You’ll be surrounded by men who value honesty, openness, and real connection. Joe guides the group using somatic and neuroscience-informed practices that help soften old protective patterns and support deeper authenticity, emotional clarity, and a healthy dose of laughter. Real change happens when men show up as they are: messy, human, honest, and discover they don’t have to do this work alone.
Men in this group often find a deeper connection to themselves, a renewed sense of purpose, and the confidence to live with more clarity and heart. They practice leaning on one another and allowing themselves to be supported in vulnerability. That kind of strength grows when you stop carrying everything alone and experience what real community feels like.
As trust builds, the walls we all hold up begin to soften. Intimacy becomes less of a mystery and more of a skill and process with real support. Group members notice a surge of motivation, a clearer sense of what they stand for, and a renewed ability to act on their values in work, love, and daily life. Joe guides the group through somatic (body-based) practices to help members experience long-lasting transformation in their lives.
This is an invitation to be in relationship with men who are committed to growth...men who want to show up as more grounded partners, more present friends, and more authentic versions of themselves.
Structure of Beneath the Surface Men’s Group
Beneath the Surface is intentionally simple in structure and deep in process. Each meeting begins with a short grounding practice to help you arrive in your body. From there, members check in, set intentions, and move into the heart of the work. Each week, one or two members have the opportunity to explore a personal challenge or theme with Joe’s guidance while the group witnesses, supports, and participates. Men consistently say they learn just as much from being present for someone else’s work as they do when they’re in the driver’s seat themselves.
Unlike advice-driven or support-based men’s groups, Beneath the Surface is directive, focusing on presence, curiosity, accountability, and authentic relating. Group members bring intentions to understand better and heal aspects of themselves related to relationships, impulses, self-esteem, motivation, confidence, and more. The goal isn’t to fix anyone; it’s to help each man understand himself more deeply, experience change at his core, and translate that change into how he lives, loves, and connects.
Beneath the Surface blends the strengths of support groups and experiential growth work. You’ll be witnessed by other men, explore the emotional patterns that shape your life, and practice new ways of relating. Members often describe this group as offering the depth of Joe’s individual work with the added power of community and connection.
This group was created to offer a consistent, meaningful, and accessible way to do deep personal work with the support of other men who are also walking their own path toward connection, confidence, and authenticity.
