Beneath the Surface: An Online Men’s Group Rooted in Attachment and Somatic Work
If you’re craving deeper connection, more confidence in how you show up, and a way of living that feels true to who you are, this men’s group offers a place to practice exactly that. Here, men step out of old patterns and into a space where honesty, presence, and emotional clarity become lived experiences, not just ideas. It’s a space where you are supported in creating real change in your relationships, your purpose, and your inner life.
You’re in the right place if:
You want deeper relationships and more meaningful connections in your life.
You often find yourself carrying things alone and would like a community of men you can genuinely lean on.
You notice the same struggles showing up in relationships, work, dating, parenting, or your relationship with yourself.
You're navigating a major life transition and want support that is grounded, honest, and relational.
You're interested in attachment, emotional growth, and understanding the patterns that shape how you connect with others.
You want a men's group where vulnerability, authenticity, and real conversation are welcomed.
What this Men’s Group is
This is an ongoing men's group for men who want to grow through relationships rather than in isolation.
The group offers a place to explore challenges, celebrate successes, and receive support from other men who are committed to living with greater awareness, integrity, and connection. Members bring in whatever feels alive in their lives, including relationships, family, intimacy, purpose, grief, transitions, conflict, and questions about who they are becoming.
Joe guides the group using attachment-based and somatic approaches that help members move beyond insight alone. Rather than simply talking about change, we create opportunities to experience it. As group members become more aware of their emotions, bodies, and relational patterns, new possibilities begin to emerge.
Over time, group members discover that they feel less alone. They become more confident in expressing themselves, more connected in their relationships, and more trusting of their own experience. They develop friendships, find support during difficult seasons, and experience the kind of community that is increasingly rare in adult life.
As trust grows, the group becomes a place where honesty is welcomed, vulnerability is met with respect, and growth happens through deep personal work, authentic relationships, and accountability.
This is an invitation to join a community of men who are committed to showing up for themselves and one another with courage, curiosity, and heart.
What to Expect
This men's group combines the depth of personal work with the power of community. Each meeting begins with a brief grounding practice to help members settle into the room, connect with themselves, and arrive more fully in the present moment.
From there, members check in and share what feels most alive in their lives, follow-ups from previous meetings, and challenges they'd like to address. Issues we frequently cover include relationship challenges, life transitions, questions about purpose, substance use, and old patterns that create the same frustrating results. Together, we explore what is happening beneath the surface and create opportunities for new meaning in life, emotional growth, and lasting change and healing.
Joe guides the group using attachment-based and somatic approaches that help members move beyond talking about their lives and into a deeper experience of themselves. Rather than focusing on advice or problem-solving, the group emphasizes awareness, curiosity, presence, and deeper healing work guided by Joe.
One unique aspect of this work is that growth happens whether you're actively exploring your own material or witnessing and participating in someone else's process. Again and again, men discover that another person's struggle often illuminates something important in their own life. The group becomes a place where members learn from one another, support one another, and recognize that they are far less alone than they imagined.
Over time, trust develops, relationships deepen, and the group becomes a place where honesty is welcomed and vulnerability is met with respect. Members often describe the experience as combining the depth of individual therapy with the support, challenge, and connection that can only happen in a community of men.
This group was created for men who want a consistent place to do meaningful personal work while building authentic relationships with other men committed to growth, connection, and living with greater intention. Respect for members' identities and backgrounds is a must, and all men over 21 are welcome in this space.
